Instant Glue
Instant modeling glue from Green Stuff World, commonly known as cyanoacrylate glue, is the best super glue for plastic, and it is also a type of Cyanoacrylate that is widely used in various applications such as woodworking, model making, and jewelry making. This high-performance product is designed to bond a wide range of materials in 5-10 seconds including Plasticard, foams, rubber, metal, cork, wood, and ceramics. It is quick-drying properties and strong bond make it a popular choice for DIY projects and professional applications alike.

This is a single-component adhesive that is based on a family of synthetic acrylic resins known as cyanoacrylates. When applied to a surface, the adhesive quickly reacts with the moisture in the air to form a strong bond. The ciano is supplied in a bottle and is dispensed through a nozzle applicator.

When using it, it’s important to take safety precautions to avoid skin or eye contact. The ciano is also known to release fumes during the curing process, so proper ventilation is recommended.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

– Use Glue tips available at our site to extend the lifetime of the bottles
– If you are not planning to use the CA glue for a long period of time prepare the glue for storage: remove the glue tip, clean and wipe your CA bottle nozzle and neck, and re-cap it.
– Make sure your CA glue is stored away from your CA Glue Activator. The accelerator gives off fumes (aerosols) just sitting there, which can cause CA glue to harden in the bottle prematurely. We recommend a zip-lock bag for the accelerator.

Solvent, cleanser, and stain remover of cyanoacrylate glues in a colorless gel. This CA Glue Debonder cleans and removes dried glue residue from a wide variety of surfaces such as metal, wood, glass, plastic, and textiles. Also helps to clean glue residue on your fingers or to peel off fingers if glued together.

How to use a CA Glue Debonder
Apply the gel above the surface to be softened or cleaned, leave it on for 30 minutes then clean. If necessary, repeat the operation. Long exposures could damage some types of plastics.

This activator for ca glue is formulated with chemicals, solvent-free alcohol-based, that stimulate a rapid chemical reaction in the ciano adhesive, causing it to solidify and bond surfaces together quickly and securely and therefore expedite the bonding process of CA adhesive, making it particularly valuable for scale model enthusiasts. Its advantages in the realm of craft and modeling include accelerated assembly, reinforced bonds, and precise product application for intricate model components.

Does CA glue need an activator?
Superglue is designed to cure and bond on its own when it comes into contact with moisture in the air. However, there are situations and applications where using it can be beneficial:

Speeding up the curing process: It can take some time to cure fully, depending on the type and thickness and the conditions in which it is used. An activator can significantly accelerate the curing time, allowing for a faster bond.
Ensuring a rapid bond: In situations where you need an instant, strong bond, such as in certain DIY repairs or model building, using a CA activator can help ensure that the pieces bond quickly and securely.
Enhancing bond strength: It can improve the overall bond strength making it more durable and resilient.
Facilitating bonding in challenging conditions: In dry or low-humidity environments, cyanoacrylate may not cure as quickly as desired. Activators can be especially useful in such conditions to ensure a reliable bond.
It’s important to note that not all gluing applications require an accelerator. For many everyday uses, such as household repairs or bonding plastics, using a cyanoacrylate glue without an activator is perfectly fine. However, when speed, strength, or specific conditions are critical, using a CA glue activator can be a valuable tool to have on hand.

The CA activator can be sprayed before or after applying the ciano, but it works best when spraying onto the surface to be glued before applying the cyanoacrylate. This product will then react to vastly accelerate the curing process, crystalizing the cyanoacrylate almost instantly.

This will avoid the tedious waiting time for the cyanoacrylate to finish drying, allowing you to continue working as soon as the cyanoacrylate is used (be prepared, it can dry very very fast!).
