Chrome Metallic Paints (Full Range) – Green Stuff World

Brush-on Chrome Paint 17ml
This alcohol-based metallic brush-on chrome paint replicates the highly reflective, mirror-like properties of chrome plating, ideal for achieving realistic metallic finishes on models, miniatures, and scale replicas. Compatible with both brush and airbrush applications, it works on surfaces of any color and should be cleaned with alcohol for optimal maintenance. Its drying time varies, typically between 5 to 30 minutes, depending on the coating thickness and environmental conditions, so adequate drying time is advised for the best results.

The paint’s mirror effect makes it perfect for adding striking realism and visual appeal to details like armor, weaponry, and polished metal surfaces in models of cars, planes, and more. However, due to its reflective nature, surface preparation is essential, as imperfections may be amplified. Additionally, applying inks or varnishes over it can diminish its mirror-like quality, so it’s recommended to use the paint as a final layer. This 17ml product is especially valued for its versatility and precision in artistic applications.

Airbrush Chrome Paint
Alcohol-based metallic paint achieves an effect that imitates the metallic reflection of a chrome surface similar to a mirror.

Designed to be used with an airbrush, always apply on glossy surfaces, preferably black or very dark. A matte base will not allow mirror-like reflections, and light colors will reduce the desired effect

The mirror effect could be reduced or even lost if inks or varnishes are added on top.

After applying and once completely dry, in case the surface does not completely mirror, rub with something soft (brush, sponge, ear swab, cloth …) to polish and highlight the mirror effect.
