Post lockdown, retailers are filling their shelves with Games Workshop’s wares with Warhammer 40k being the stand out line of miniatures in the world. A good old British business as well, something to be proud of I think. That said Warhammer 40k seems pretty expensive to the average Joe. I mean it, on the face of it, you open the boxes of these things you see a few sprues with moulded plastic of some little 28mm dudes which don’t look like the best value in the world.
I’m not knocking the product at all, I think they’re great but we all want a bargain and as a beginner wanting to buy a cheap Warhammer 40k army or start a new army then the Games Workshop Start Collecting! boxes are definitely a great place to start.
